Your Work
How did you get started with Salesforce?
Salesforce began as a surprise find. While serving as a Public Affairs Manager, and drawing on a background in Accounting and Business Management, I sought out a better way to manage public outreach campaigns at NASA. A combination of research and a visit to Dreamforce revealed Salesforce as the obvious choice, setting the course from there. That initial discovery led me into Salesforce consulting, where I have spent the past 13 years designing and delivering scalable solutions as a Salesforce Architect.
What's your favorite thing about building solutions with Salesforce?
What I enjoy most about building solutions with Salesforce is fully leaning into the platform's possibilities. I believe Salesforce can do just about anything, and that mindset keeps options open to finding solutions within the platform for any business requirement. There's real power in approaching every challenge with that level of confidence.
What energizes you at work?
I'm energized by producing real end products and watching team efforts come together. I thrive on collaboration that moves beyond discussing possibilities to delivering systems that make a meaningful difference in how people work every day.
Name a work achievement you are proud of.
One project that brought a lot of pride was leading the implementation of an Automotive Cloud Salesforce platform for a well-known default services business group that previously managed vehicle total loss claims entirely through spreadsheets and emails. I led the team in migrating the full claims lifecycle into Salesforce, enabling claims intake from multiple sources and automated routing to the appropriate agents. By leveraging primarily standard Salesforce objects—including Assets, Claims, Warranty Terms, Products, and Milestones—the solution reduced manual processing time by over 70%, increased agent adoption to 100%, and enabled the team to handle claims faster without adding headcount.
